Definitions

Capacity    

The Capacity for Independent Living Residents in a community refers to the maximum number of residents that can be accommodated based on the existing room setup.

Average Occupancy    

In senior living, operators typically refer to it as "Average Occupancy" or "Average Occupancy." These terms are used to describe the average number of residents or the percentage of occupied units over a specific time period, usually on a monthly basis. It provides insights into the overall occupancy levels within the senior living facility and is an important metric for evaluating its performance and planning.


Percentage of Residency Days    

By community, Independent Living resident days divided by Capacity.


Total Days of Occupancy    

By community, the sum of the number of days for Independent Living residents is in the community.


Rent Roll Rate

Total revenue in the month based on the effective date for: 

[ Room Rate + Care Rate + Secondary Care / Average Occupancy ].


REVPOR

Total revenue in the month based on the effective date for: 

[ All Revenue Entry Types / Average Occupancy ].
